Father David Pearce, 69, formerly of Ealing Abbey, Charlbury Grove, Ealing, and former teacher at nearby St Benedict's Catholic School in Eaton Rise, will face three counts of indecent assault against a boy. At the same time John Maestri, 71, of Chatham, Kent, a former maths teacher, will face three charges of indecent assault against a boy. The charges relate to separate incidents but the same victim and took place between 1976 and 1979. Their trial begins on July 4 and is expected to last four days.
