Littlestown Youth Pastor Arrested, Charged with Sexually Assaulting Boys Record Herald February 6, 2011 http://www.therecordherald.com/news/x549731531/Littlestown-youth-pastor-arrested-charged-with-sexually-assaulting-boys A Littlestown youth pastor was arrested Thursday for the alleged sexual assault of two Littlestown teen boys, according to information released late Friday by Adams County District Attorney Shawn Wagner. Jeffrey Lynn Crosley, 35, of 115 Roberta Jean Ave., was arrested by the Littlestown Police Department and charged with two counts of rape, three counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, two counts of aggravated indecent assault and other sex-related crimes, all stemming from the alleged sexual assault of a 16-year-old boy and another boy who was between 12 and 16 years old when the acts allegedly occurred. Littlestown police allege that Crosley engaged in anal and oral sex with the boys, according to the release. Wagner said the investigation is ongoing and there is reason to believe there are other victims. Crosley has worked for the past 10 years as a youth minister at Jesus Messiah Evangelical Free Church in Hanover, and police suspect Crosley used his position as a youth minister to have contact with teenage boys. Police Chief Charles Kellar said that when Crosley was arrested, a search of his home revealed numerous photographs of what appeared to be child pornography depicting teenage boys. Police also seized computer equipment from the home that will be submitted to the Pennsylvania State Police computer lab for testing and analysis. The release indicated that Crosley will face additional charges for possession of child pornography. Crosley was arraigned before an Adams County magisterial district judge and placed in jail, with bail set at $500,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 9. Anyone with information of potential sexual abuse by Crosley should contact Kellar or Detective Douglas Hilyard at the Littlestown Police Department, 359-4511. |
