	My Final Word on Euteneuer, Hli Saga By Matt C. Abbott Renew America February 4, 2011 http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/abbott/110202 In the last couple of days, Father Tom Euteneuer and Human Life International have released their own statements on the reason(s) for Father Tom's departure from HLI and his removal from public ministry. I'm glad the statements have been issued, although I wish they had been issued weeks, if not months, ago. Father Tom's statement can be read by clicking here. HLI's statement can be read by clicking here. It's important to read both. Having closely followed this story for a while now, I will say only that I am disappointed in certain aspects of both statements. Pray that the full truth be known, if it be God's will. At this point, however, I'm prepared to move on. With regard to what other columnists on this website write, I do not dictate what they choose to cover, and they do not dictate what I choose to cover. That said, I have the utmost respect for my fellow RenewAmerica columnists, Catholic and Protestant. It's my policy not to answer for what they write in their own columns. It's up to them to respond to criticism if they deem it appropriate. I respectfully ask that readers not send me inquiries on this particular matter, as I will not respond to them.
