	Man Files Suit over Alleged Sexual Abuse By Jason Hibbs WPSD February 3, 2011 http://www.wpsdlocal6.com/news/local/Man-files-suit-over-alleged-sexual-abuse-115219384.html [with video] A Paducah man filed a lawsuit today against the Boy Scouts and a local church, alleging a former scout leader sexually abused him as a child. Joe Andrect, 49, said the abuse happened in the mid 1970s when he was a member of Troop 1. The suit names the Boy Scouts of America, the Shawnee Trails Council, Grace Episcopal Church in Paducah and the Episcopal Diocese of Kentucky as defendants. Andrect is seeking unspecified damages. Local 6 spoke with the former scout leader and Andrect's lawyer. For more on the story, watch the video.
