Lists Names of Accused By Jay Lindsay Boston.com January 19, 2011 http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2011/01/19/boston_lawyer_to_list_churchs_accused_abusers/ A lawyer for numerous Boston-area clergy sex abuse victims has released a new list of accused abusers and called on other attorneys to do the same. The list released Wednesday includes the previously undisclosed names of 19 priests and members of religious orders that attorney Mitchell Garabedian said were accused in cases his firm settled with the Roman Catholic Church. Eighteen once worked in the Boston Archdiocese and one came from the nearby Fall River Diocese. Fourteen of the 19 men are dead. Garabedian said the archdiocese has not kept a promise to release such names and continues a climate of secrecy that protects pedophiles. An archdiocese spokeswoman said it is working to release such names, but it's a complex job because of concerns about due process for priests who've never been convicted of a crime
