Melanie Nathan- Jan 02, 2011- The board of a Rio Linda, California, church, whose pastor has been arrested on suspicion of child molestation, on Saturday released a statement of support. That seems to be par for the course – after all if the Pope can be supportive why should that silly little Board not be supportive of child molestation too.

Tom Gene Daniels, 48, pastor of Rio Linda Baptist Church, has been arrested and apparently charged with suspicion of lewd or lascivious act with a child under 14 and engaging in three or more acts of sexual conduct with a child. This California Pastor is on the record for asserting how imperative Passage of Prop 8 would be to save the traditional family. “No marriage for gays – they are perverts and unless we the straight clergy support PROP8 our families will be destroyed….. blah blah or something like that!

I suggest that all you child molesting blabbermouths keep the trap door, otherwise known as “mouth” shut – because we the queers have a clear picture now – “he who ‘prostesteth’ too much – has a child hidden in his closet!”

I guess we thought, for a while that ever ready Bishop LONG had cornered the market for a while. Who else is out there. They are going to get you too.

“Until such time as the courts prove Pastor Tom Daniels guilty, we have an obligation to support him and his family,” said the statement. The statement also said that accusations such as those facing Daniels need to be tried in the court and not the media” Reports Modesto BEE.

Daniels’ bail is set at $6 million; and for bail to be that high, there must surely be quite an egregious case against the Pastor – or at least as far as law enforcement is concerned.
