	Priest Allegedly Fathered Child, SNAP Asks for Dismissal KIMA December 21, 2010 http://www.kimatv.com/news/local/112231319.html YAKIMA -- KIMA has learned a priest who allegedly fathered a child in Oregon is living in the Yakima Valley. Father William J. Vogel is currently the Associate Pastor at Resurrection Church in Zillah. The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests or "SNAP," said Vogel impregnated a parishioner in the early 90's. The group wants him suspended. We called the Yakima Diocese to get their side. "We are looking into it and discussing the matter," said Father Robert Siler. "As of right now, there are no plans to dismiss him from the Yakima diocese." Vogel belongs to a large Catholic group called the Jesuits. According to SNAP, in 2006 one of his supervisors confirmed to a Yakima bishop that Vogel is the father. We'll continue to follow this story and let you know if the Diocese takes any action.
