New Murphy Report Chapter Released TV3 December 17, 2010 http://www.tv3.ie/article.php?article_id=50108&locID=1.2.&pagename=news [with video] A chapter of the Murphy Report which details the crimes of former priest Tony Walsh has been released. Chapter 19 details not only how he ruined so many children's lives but also how his superiors covered up his crimes. The 57 year old's name could not be included in the original report because of a criminal case against him. That case ended last week and the previously unpublished chapter has been made public. Tony Walsh was sentenced to 16years in prison last week for the abuse of three young boys in the late 1970's and 1980's. The last 4 years of his sentence were suspended.
