The diocese said the allegations against Rev. Dennis Shaw were "credible." He is accused of abusing a minor in the late 1970s while he was at the now-closed St. Francis of Assisi Church. He most recently served at Holy Family Church in Auburn. The diocese is encouraging victims of abuse to contact authorities.
