WDEL's Amy Cherry reports. Audio Here The jury is tasked with determining whether St. Elizabeth's parish in Wilmington acted negligently. If so, they must then decide on damages. Kent County Superior Court President Judge James Vaughn has already entered a verdict finding defrocked priest Francis DeLuca liable. DeLuca, who did not appear in court, has previously admitted under oath to molesting Vai. The jury must also decide damages against DeLuca. Deliberations are scheduled to resume Wednesday at 9:30am.
