	Priest Who Took Church Funds Resigns, Diocese Says Pittsburgh Post-Gazette November 14, 2010 http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/10318/1103307-56.stm The Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh announced Saturday that Father Francis J. Drabiska of the Word of God Parish in Swissvale had resigned for taking church funds. The diocese said a letter would be read to all parishioners attending mass this weekend with the announcement. "It has become clear through careful review of parish finances by diocesan auditors that funds have been misappropriated in some fashion from Word of God," said Bishop David A. Zubik in a diocese news release. Bishop Zubik said the matter would be turned over to "civil authorities." Bishop Zubik said he was appointing Father John Lyman to the oversee the parish. Father Drabiska had served as pastor of Word of God Parish for 16 years.
