Thank you, Tiger Beatdown for bringing pederast-apologist Bill Donohue's latest abomination to my attention. Donohue, the head of the crazed Catholic League* goes completely batshit insane when anything vaguely critical of the Catholic Church hits the news. In this case, Donohue is incensed by the young man who sued the Chicago Archdiocese, claiming that convicted child molesting priest Daniel McCormack also abused him while he was in grade school.
Donohue says of the then-child who claims he was "inappropriately sexually touched, hugged, rubbed and/or abused:"
It's time to ask some tough questions. Why did this young man not object earlier? Why did he allow the "abuse" to continue until he was 18? The use of the quotes is deliberate: the charge against the former priest is not rape, but rubbing. While still objectionable, there is a glacial difference between being rubbed and raped.
Let's see--in one short paragraph we have this "good Catholic" (and like Donohue, the quotes are deliberate), blaming the victim and minimizing the crime.
What I want to know is why isn't the Catholic Church distancing itself from this lunatic? He openly hates gays, Jews, atheists , constantly equates homosexuality with pedophilia, and assures the world that Hollywood enjoys anal sex. Presumably because they're all child-molesting, homosexual, atheist, Christian-loathing Jews.
Curiously, as far as I can tell, nobody from the Pope's office has told this guy to fuck the fuck off already. Not very Christian of them. Maybe it's because he's taking the heat for things they'd like to be saying.
*Note, I'm not calling all Catholics crazed, just these loons.
