Two Charlotte Men Speak out in Accused Pastor's Defense By Dion Lim WCNC October 1, 2010 http://www.wcnc.com/home/Two-Charlotte-men-speak-out-in-accused-pastors-defense-104191854.html [with video] In a NewsChannel 36 exclusive, two local men speak out about Bishop Eddie Long, the pastor accused by 4 young men of sexual abuse. Jerome Tompkins and his brother Kahlil Lee approached NewsChannel 36, and said they were taken under the pastor’s guidance as teenagers, and call him “dad.” While they were showered with gifts like a car and college tuition, Tompkins says Long would never hurt anyone, and the 4 accusers who filed lawsuits just got greedy and wanted more from Long. |
