Stan Strycharz of St. Leo Catholic Church in Bonita Springs, leaders of the Diocese of Venice are now saying. Strycharz is accused of breaking two of the most coveted vows of priesthood. “The biggest vows of a priest are celibacy and obedience to the bishop,” said Bob Reddy, spokesman for the Diocese of Venice. “Both are involved.” No further details on breaking the vow of celibacy would be discussed, Reddy said.
