Dewane has sent a letter to parish members at St. Leo Catholic Church in Bonita Springs, shedding some light on the removal of Rev. Stan Strycharz. The letter - dated July 31 and Aug. 1 - was addressed to the parish in the church's weekly bulletin regarding his decision to place Strycharz on administrative leave effective July 23. "The concerns that prompted this action rose from among the faithful of St. Leo Parish. Their comments and questions focused on the life and sacramental commitment of a priest, as well as financial matters," wrote Dewane, bishop of the Diocese of Venice
