	Priest Charged with Possession of Child Pornography Resigns from Church WEAU August 2, 2010 http://www.weau.com/news/headlines/99731519.html?ref=519 [with video] Parishoners in Onalaska got the news Sunday morning at mass that the priest charged with having child pornography has resigned. Monsignor Gilles told the congregation at St. Patrick's during the service that Father Patrick Umberger submitted his resignation on July 29th. Gilles says Umberger met with the appointed Bishop Callahan earlier this week but he does not know the nature of that meeting. Gilles says the church will be run in the meantime by a long-serving Deacon until they find a permanent replacement for Umberger.
