Three people gathered outside the Pittsburgh Diocese Chancery Office on Wednesday afternoon to deliver a letter to the Pittsburgh Catholic bishop. The letter asked him to publicly disclose the outcome of an investigation against Father David Dzermejko, who was suspended from The Mary Mother of the Church Parish in Charleroi last June because of sex abuse allegations. The results of an investigation have not been made public.

They also asked to post on the diocese website the names and whereabouts of all proven and accused clergy and lay employees. They announced the formation of a support group for clergy sex abuse victims and their loved ones in Pittsburgh. In addition, they urged anyone who saw, suspected or suffered clergy sex crimes to come forward.

Those gathered included clergy sex-abuse victims from a Chicago-based support group called SNAP - Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests.

Father Ronald Lengwin, spokesperson for the Diocese said Father Dzermejko was placed on administrative leave and is a diocese facility with other priests. Lengwin said another victim has come forward and a decision is expected next month.
