  Zogby Has New Data on Attitudes of US Catholics

Pollster John Zogby will release new survey data on the beliefs and attitudes of American Catholics at Trinity Washington University May 6.

Zogby, president and CEO of Zogby International and author of The Way We’ll Be: The Zogby Report on the Transformation of the American Dream (Random House), will be the featured luncheon speaker at the "Washington Briefing for the Nation’s Catholic Community," cosponsored by Trinity and National Catholic Reporter.

The conference will be held on Trinity's campus in Northeast Washington, with an afternoon session Thursday May 6 at the Capitol Hill Visitors Center.

* Sr. Simone Campbell, executive director of Network, the Catholic social justice lobby

* Sr. Carol Keehan, D.C., president and chief executive officer of the Catholic Health Association of the United States, the organization that played a pivotal role in the health care reform debate.

* Thomas Patrick Melady, U.S. ambassador to the Holy See under President George H.W. Bush and senior diplomat in residence at The Institute of World Politics.

* Patricia McGuire, president of Trinity Washington University.
