Birthday Party a Sick Parody of Last Supper By Peter Derosa Herald May 1, 2010 http://www.herald.ie/lifestyle/birthday-party-a-sick-parody-of-last-supper-2161320.html The Pope's recent birthday party was held in the magnificent Ducal Hall in the Apostolic Palace. Aged silk-clad technicoloured prelates, including Boston's notorious Cardinal Law, made it a parody of the Last Supper. On the Pope's right: Cardinal Sodano, Dean of the Sacred College. In a fawning address, he spoke of the Pope as the victim of "chiacchiericcio", Italian for tittle-tattle. When he was Secretary of State, Sodano convinced John Paul that Mexican priest Fr Maciel, founder of the Legionaries of Christ, was a saint. In fact, he was a complete fraud and a monster of carnality. A serial adulterer, he fathered up to six children and abused a huge number of seminarians. His own son said he sexually abused him for years. Maciel brought his children to Rome to receive JP II's blessing. He is said to have died an atheist, refusing the sacraments. At once, his successor in the Order publicly declared he had gone straight to heaven. There are many pictures of JP II fondly embracing Maciel, not one of him with abuse victims. On the Pope's left: Cardinal Bertone, Secretary of State, formerly Ratzinger's deputy at the Holy Office. He proudly admitted he would never hand over a brother priest to the law, being a shepherd not a policeman. He had just returned from Chile where he astounded even the Vatican by declaring that all priest paedophiles are gay. The ghost at the feast was Cardinal Hoyos, for 10 years Prefect of the Congregation for Clergy. In 2001, he praised a French bishop who was given a three-month suspended sentence for shielding a priest convicted of raping minors. He wrote to him: "I rejoice to have a colleague in the episcopate who, in the eyes of history and all the world's bishops, preferred prison to denouncing one of his priest sons." According to Hoyos, JP II not only approved the letter, he told him to mail it to every bishop and post it on the internet. Hoyos also claims that Cardinal Ratzinger, now Pope, was involved in the decision to praise the French bishop for his cover-up. This confirms the Vatican's decades-long policy which, incredibly, it now denies. It also exposes the demonic reasoning behind it. Like a parent, Rome felt unable to denounce its so-called "children", namely, pervert priests. Instead, it coolly chose to sacrifice real children, Christ's holy innocents, some a few months old, who were raped and sexually abused in the hundreds and thousands. In the often scandalous history of the Roman Church I know nothing remotely as wicked or Herod-like as this. |
