ROME -- A group of 24 Irish bishops are arriving in Rome today ahead of tomorrow's meeting with Pope Benedict XVI in the Vatican.

The specially-convened meeting will discuss how the church has handled the emergence of the Ryan and Murphy reports into clerical child abuse.
Surviors' groups are hoping the Vatican will acknowledge and apologise for the hurt and trauma they experienced at the hands of the Irish clergy.
