	Call on Pope to Remove Bishop of Galway Galway Bay February 9, 2010 http://www.galwaynews.ie/11146-call-pope-remove-bishop-galway IRELAND -- Survivors of clerical abuse have written a letter to Pope Benedict calling for the removal of Bishop of Galway, Martin Drennan from his post. They say Dr Drennan has refused to accept any responsibility for his part in covering up allegations of abuse during his time in the Dublin Archdiocese. The letter, seen by Galway Bay Fm news, also urges the Pope to accept the resignations of Bishops James Moriarty, Eamonn Walsh and Raymond Field. It also calls on the pope to instruct Irish bishops to comply fully with civil child protection guidelines
