	Gardai near End of Meath Abuse Investigation By Elaine Keogh Irish Independent December 2, 2009 http://www.independent.ie/national-news/gardai-near-end-of-meath-abuse-investigation-1960611.html IRELAND--A garda investigation into allegations against a priest of sexually abusing young boys in the diocese of Meath is almost complete.+ADw-br+AD4APA-br+AD4- Some of the alleged offences are said to have taken place in the presbyteries where the priest was living at the time, and others in different locations in and outside the diocese. The offences are alleged to have taken place in 1969. The priest, now in his 70s, is no longer an active minister in the Church. Gardai began their inquiries earlier this year after receiving a complaint and subsequently received four other complaints.
