Limerick Media to Be Briefed on Dublin Diocese Report Limerick Leader November 26, 2009 http://www.limerickleader.ie/news/Limerick-media-to-be-briefed.5860551.jp LIMERICK media will be briefed on the Dublin Diocese report this evening following its publication today. Set up in March 2006, the report has investigated how child sex abuse allegations against a representative sample of 46 priests was handled by 19 bishops in Dublin between January 1st, 1975, and April 30th, 2004. Current Bishop of Limerick Donal Murray is one of the 19 bishops investigated by the report into how the abuse allegations were handled. The Dublin Report will be published online on the Department of Justice website between 2.00pm and 2.30pm today on www.justice.ie Sometime this morning survivors of child abuse will be briefed by Government officials on the Dublin Report At 2.15pm the Minister for Justice Dermot Ahern and the Minister for Children Barry Andrews will host a joint press conference in Government Buildings to launch the report At 3.00pm One in Four will host a press conference in conjunction with Andrew Madden and Marie Collins in Buswells Hotel, Kildare Street, Dublin At 4.30pm the Archdiocese of Dublin will hold a press conference in the Library in Mater Dei Institute of Education, Dublin. The Limerick media will then be briefed later this evening in the city.
