Authorities in Missouri were investigating allegations of inappropriate sexual contact with an adult and a child against Paul Cool, 49, of Amity, Mo., when their investigation led to another in Vermont. On Nov. 16, Missouri police arrested Cool on a warrant from Vermont and charged him with lewd-and-lascivious conduct, and lewd-and-lascivious conduct with a child. The incidents allegedly took place in Royalton and Cornwall, police said. Cool will be transported to Vermont to face charges in the future. No court date is scheduled.
