	Church Plans Prayer Vigil in Response to Child Abuse Investigation The Kansas City Star November 16, 2009 http://www.kansascity.com/115/story/1574304.html A public prayer vigil has been scheduled for tonight by the Community of Christ church in response to arrests last week in the Lafayette County child abuse investigation. The vigil is from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Community of Christ Temple, 201 S. River Blvd., Independence. It has been prompted by the arrests of six members of the Mohler family, some of whom have connections to the church. “This is a call to prayer for healing, and also to pray for all the families who have been impacted by the arrest of the Mohlers,” said Linda Booth, Community of Christ communications director.
