	First Croatian Priest in Jail for Sexual Abuse of Children Croatian Times November 9, 2009 http://www.croatiantimes.com/news/General_News/2009-11-09/7063/ _First_Croatian_priest_in_jail_for_sexual_abuse_of_children Drago Ljubicic, 65, will be the first priest to go to jail for sexual abuse of children in Croatia. Rijeka county court confirmed Ljubicic's three-year prison sentence last Friday. Ljubicic was accused of sexually molesting five boys aged 10 to 12 between 2003 and 2007 on Krk Island. The diocese of Krk has apologised to all those whom the priest molested. He was arrested in 2007 and then placed in a home for retired priests on Krk.
