	Priest Removed from Albany Catholic Diocese CBS 6 October 24, 2009 http://www.cbs6albany.com/news/rodino-1267786-albany-says.html The Albany Catholic Dicoese has placed a priest on administrative leave. The church says there are reasonable grounds to believe he sexually abused a minor back in the 1980's. Reverend Salvatore "Sam" Rodino was removed from the ministry today. He's been serving as pastor at Saint Jude the Apostle in Wyantskill since 2005. The diocese says it received and investigated a claim that Rodino abused a teenager about 27-years ago, while serving at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Albany. Rodino denies the allegations. Rodino, who also spent time at 4 local high schools, is barred from celebrating mass and performing any other sacraments.
