	RCMP Conducts Searches at Former Bishop's Residence and Office The Amherst Daily News October 14, 2009 http://www.amherstdaily.com/index.cfm?sid=294543&sc=508 Early this morning, members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police(RCMP) Provincial Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit executed a search warrant at a residence of former Bishop Raymond Lahey. On Tuesday, October 13, Members of the RCMP ICE Unit with the assistance of the Antigonish/Guysborough Street Crime Enforcement Unit(SCEU) executed search warrants in Antigonish at the residence and office of former Bishop Raymond Lahey. The searches in Antigonish and Sydney were conducted as a result of information obtained from Ottawa Police Service and follow up investigation in the Province of Nova Scotia. On September 25, 2009 the Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) investigators charged Raymond J. Lahey, 69 year old, from Antigonish, Nova Scotia with Possession of Child Pornography and Importation of Child Pornography. The investigation in the Province of Nova Scotia continues.
