	Jury Picked in Diocese Trial Rutland Herald September 29, 2009 http://www.rutlandherald.com/article/20090929/THISJUSTIN/909299992 BURLINGTON — A jury has been picked for the latest civil trial involving Vermont's Roman Catholic Diocese and its handling of a priest accused of molesting children in the 1970s. Like others tried before in Chittenden County Superior Court, the case stems from a former Burlington altar boy's claim that Rev. Edward Paquette molested him at Christ the King Church. The victim, who does not want his name published, says the Vermont diocese is to blame because it knew Paquette was a child molester when it hired him, and that it breached its fiduciary duty. The Associated Press does not identify victims of sexual assault without their consent. Opening arguments in the case in Burlington were scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
