	Police: Man Abused Girls at Church By Katharhynn Heidelberg Daily Press September 22, 2009 http://www.montrosepress.com/articles/2009/09/22/news/doc4ab84f19cddb8788318745.txt DELTA — A Delta church is working to reassure its parishioners after an on-again, off-again member allegedly took indecent liberties with a child there, and harassed two other girls. Reginald Jackson, 48, of Paonia, was arrested Sept. 16 on suspicion of sexual assault on a child, three counts of child abuse and two counts of harassment. Formal charges are due by 3 p.m. Wednesday, when a bond hearing has also been set. According to Jackson’s arrest affidavit, a girl said he walked into a room at the Delta First Assembly of God Church where she and two others were playing “house,” slammed the door, and touched the other two on their legs. The girl reportedly said Jackson grabbed her shoulders and ran his hands down her breasts, to her waist. She alleged he tried to pull her into him as she attempted to walk away. In the same affidavit, another child alleged Jackson had rubbed and patted her thigh while she was sitting down, and a third girl said he walked up behind her, grabbed her shoulders and kissed her head. The girls reportedly said Jackson scared them and that he left when a teacher came into the room.
