OC Diocese Convicted Perv Albert Lee Schildknecht Violated Probation, Served Jail Time By Gustavo Arellano in Ex Cathedra Orange County Weekly September 9, 2009 http://blogs.ocweekly.com/navelgazing/ex-cathedra/oc-diocese-convicted-perv-albe/ [See also other

"unless in the company of a responsible adult over the age of 21 who is approved by the probation officer or court, knows of your offense(s), and is willing to monitor your behavior." Well, guess what Schildknecht did? On July 21st, he admitted to breaking the probation, and a judge sentenced him to six days in jail. That, of course, is nothing considering his crimes, but Schildknecht becomes only the third Diocese of Orange pervert to ever serve time for a conviction, following Gerardo Tanilong and Andrew Christian Andersen. "It's great that Schildknecht finally goes to jail," says famed Catholic sex-abuse scandal lawyer John Manly, who won a civil settlement against Schildknecht on behalf of his victim and helped get the pervert arrested and convicted. "Why [Orange Bishop] Tod Brown allowed this man to remain a choir director for so long is beyond me. Seriously. In this 1999 article about a teen rock band Schildknecht led, he told a reporter, ""We get to watch the girls shake it. I'm in a state of conflict--she's my daughter." In the words of the late, great, decrepit-even-before-he-died Wally George: SICK, SICK, SICK!!! E-mail: GARELLANO@OCWEEKLY.COM |
