	South Colby Abuse Victims Get $574k Settlement from Church, Pastor By Josh Farley Kitsap Sun September 2, 2009 http://www.kitsapsun.com/news/2009/sep/02/south-colby-abuse-victims-get-574k-settlement/?partner=RSS A sexual abuse lawsuit against The Church in South Colby has been settled, according to attorneys involved in the case. “Kim K.” and “Gabrielle H,” two victims of abuse by former South Colby pastor Robbin L. Harper, will share $574,000 in assets and cash, said Port Orchard attorney Andrew Becker. Harper was sentenced in Kitsap County Superior Court to 26 1/2 years in prison in April 2008 after pleading guilty to eight counts of child molestation, child rape and assault. Harper’s attorney, Thomas Weaver, wouldn’t comment on the settlement because the paperwork has yet to be completed.
