The long-running soap opera between Alberto Cutié and 35-year-old Ruhama Buni Canellis is coming to a storybook ending. According to CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald, Alberto Cutié is set to wed his fiance' Ruhama Buni Canellis within the next two weeks.

Cutié and Canellis have hired off-duty police officers to work security at the private wedding. The nuptials are planned to take place at an unnamed Episcopal church, with Rev. Leo Frade, the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida, leading the wedding.
Cutié and Canellis have been at the center of a scandal after pictures and videos were revealed showing the couple in romantic positions on a South Florida beach. Cutié at the time was under a vow of celibacy as a Roman Catholic priest. But, Cutié wound up leaving the Catholic church saying he was in love with Canellis.
The two surprised some when they showed up together at the ceremony when Cutie' switched to Episcopalian and it was announced they were engaged.
