Chief inspector the Very Rev Andrew McLellan said a new policy to welcome ex-prisoners into congregations, approved by the General Assembly yesterday, would help reduce the number of victims. He told commissioners, or delegates, the Church of Scotland's stance was most welcome because sex offenders were the least prepared of all prison inmates for reintegration into society.
