The Johnston County Sheriff's Department said Friday that 47-year-old Joseph Kennedy Ragland faces charges related to an April 11 incident at his home in Willow Springs. Ragland was arrested Thursday and released on a $35,000 bond. An application for a search warrant says Ragland, pastor at the Church of God in Christ Jesus in Angier, had sex with the teenager three times after telling her to drink beer. No one answered at the phone number listed on the arrest warrant for Ragland and the voice mail said it was not accepting messages.
