	Alamo Followers File Lawsuit By Lynn LaRowe Texarkana Gazette April 9, 2009 http://www.texarkanagazette.com/news/Breaking-News/2009/04/09/alamo-followers-file-lawsuit-38.php A lawsuit filed Thursday asks a federal judge to order the Arkansas Department of Human Services to stop taking the children of Tony Alamo Christian Ministries members. The suit accuses DHS of violating the parents civil rights. "I think they intend to destroy the church," said Florida attorney Phillip Kuhn from the steps of the federal courthouse in downtown Texarkana. "I have no idea why." Kuhn filed the suit on behalf of two fathers whose children are in foster care. The suit also asks that DHS no longer be able to require parents to sever residential, employment and economic ties to the church if they want to get their children back.
