The 50-year-old man, who is not being named, is seeking the largest amount of damages for sex abuse in the UK. The action against the Jesuit order and governors of Preston Catholic College in Lancashire will be heard at the High Court in London. He lost his job at a London law firm in 1997 due to drinking and aggressive behaviour. He then suffered a breakdown. Psychiatric experts will claim his condition and behaviour resulted from serious sexual abuse he suffered while at school in Preston.
