WEST PALM BEACH, FL — The defense has rested in the grand theft trial of former priest Father Guinan.
The priest was cross examined for over three hours on the witness stand.

When asked about taking the parishioners' funds, A befuddled Guinan said, "I did what I thought was appropriate at the time ... in response to situations within my rights."
The jury will come back Monday to make a final decision in the case.
WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Father Guinan is testifying in court and says he did not feel he violated any laws in capping the St. Vincent Ferrer church slush fund for travel.
Under cross examination, Guinan appeared befuddled but stood by his claim that he broke no laws.
