MONTGOMERY COUNTY, N.Y. — A local priest has been found guilty of endangering the welfare of a child, but has been acquitted of two felony counts of sexual abuse of a child.

John Broderick, 47, was accused of abusing at least four children. Police say Broderick, who is from Broome County, was staying with a family and acting as the mother's spiritual advisor.
