I'm not sure that I see the wisdom of pre-announcing bad news. Best to just let it come, no? I mean, I find Mondays distressing enough ... and they always come pre-announced. update: through various sources, I now know what this rumor is about. It doesn't pertain to any currently serving member of the Church. And it will be no big surprise to long-time AmP readers. Carry on. update 2: I agree with the critique that I handled this information poorly. I violated one of my own rules about reporting "pure gossip."
