	Ada Man in Court on Molestation Charges KWII January 29, 2009 http://www.kxii.com/news/headlines/38639637.html# Click to play video ADA, OK -- A church pastor accused of molesting two boys appeared in court to face charges Thursday. Kenneth Wayne Honeycutt faces four counts of lewd molestation. Authorities say Honeycutt blamed blood pressure medication for how he may have behaved related to the alleged incident. The 60 year old man is pastor of New Hope Baptist Church. Authorities say Honeycutt told Pontotoc County Undersheriff Joe Glover that the molestations began in the spring and occurred at least 15 times when the 10-year-old boy frequently would spend the night at his house and at least once when the 6-year-old stayed over. Glover said in a probable-cause affidavit that on December 11, the last admitted contact with the boys, Honeycutt told them not to tell anyone about the acts and to keep it "their secret." Investigators say it was a joint effort by the multi-disciplinary team that lead them to the pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Ada. If convicted, his charges could carry a life sentence.
