That's what the La Crosse diocese claims. in response to the suit filed by priests vioctims group, SNAP, the diocese, in a written statement, says it disputes claims made by the group of sex-abusing priests cover-ups. The diocese also denies that pedophile priests continue to work in the diocese and, since 2002, it says, all clergy, employees and volunteers are subjected to F-B-I background checks. The statment from the church also goes on to call SNAP's allegations "vitriolic hyperbole" and says the group's rehashing old news.
