Joel Price, 36, was indicted earlier this month on child porn charges following an 8-month investigation that began in his home on Balsam Street in May. Price had been a member of the New Tribes Mission for five years and had served as a member in Venezuela as a maintenance man. He resigned from the mission in June. Authorities said Price admitted to investigators that he was obsessed with child porn.
