	Man Suing Bridgeport Diocese, Claiming Sex Abuse By Associated Press, carried on Hartford Courant December 17, 2008 http://www.courant.com/news/local/statewire/hc-ap-ct-churchabusedec17,0,7995801.story BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - A Florida man has filed suit against the Bridgeport diocese, claiming he was sexually abused by a priest in Baltimore, New Jersey and Washington in 1977. The lawsuit filed Tuesday is the fourth lawsuit filed against the diocese in connection with allegations against the Rev. Lawrence Brett. Stanley Boston's lawyer says his client was 13 years old in 1977. The lawyer says that at the time Brett was still a Bridgeport diocesan priest, but living and working in Baltimore with the diocese's permission. A lawyer who represents the diocese says the alleged assaults on Boston have nothing to do with either the church or the diocese.
