More powerful testimony at the latest priest sex abuse lawsuit against the Vermont Catholic Diocese.

A former altar boy claims he was groped twice by Father Edward Paquette back in 1977. During the civil trials the diocese does not deny the abuse allegations, but says it is not financially responsible because they believed Paquette had been cured of pedophilia. He had molested boys in Indiana and Massachusetts before coming to Vermont.

During videotaped testimony, Bishop Salvatore Matano said he thinks the actions of then Bishop John Marshall's were wrong and he only hired Paquette as a favor to a Bishop in Indiana.
