	Accused Priest Needs New Lawyer The Tribune November 19, 2008 http://tribunenb.canadaeast.com/news/article/485055 Campbellton - Campbellton lawyer Raymond Dube appeared in Campbellton Provincial Court Monday where he told Judge Steven Hutchinson that he could no longer represent former Dalhousie priest Charles Picot, who has been charged with indecent assault. The charge under the Criminal Code as it existed at the time of the offence was laid after an investigation by Dalhousie RCMP. Picot is accused of allegedly indecently assaulting a Dalhousie boy some 30 years ago. Dube told Hutchinson that there was a conflict of interest on his part and could not represent the Picot, who was not in court. Picot is apparently trying to retain the services of a lawyer from the Montreal area. His next appearance was set for Dec. 8 where he is to make his election and plea.
