	Pastor Says He's Not Guilty WCHS October 27, 2008 http://58wchs.com/includes/news_items/3/news_items_more.php?id=3907§ion_id=3 A Kanawha County pastor denies charges that he sexually assaulted and abused several young boys more than a decade ago. Former Shrewsbury Church of God Pastor Sandy Cook pleaded not guilty during an arraignment Monday morning in Kanawha County Circuit Court. Cook was recently indicted on charges of sexual abuse by a guardian and third degree sexual assault. Investigators allege Cook abused the boys at his home and in his truck in 1994. Kanawha County Circuit Judge Irene Berger ordered Cook to stand trial February 24th. Cook was placed on administrative leave at the church shortly after the allegations surfaced more than a year ago.
