	Pastor on Sexual Abuse Charges in Court Radio Jamaica October 10, 2008 http://www.radiojamaica.com/content/view/12288/26/ A pastor accused of molesting several boys appeared in the Port Maria Resident Magistrate's court Thursday. The case against Donald Stewart, who is facing 30 counts of indecent assault and buggery, is set for hearing on December 11. Stewart was granted bail in July in the matter which is being heard in-camera. Stewart who was a supervisor at a boys' home in St Mary was charged in July following allegations that he assaulted several of his charges. The case caused outrage from rights groups when it came to light in July, with Jamaicans for Justice lamenting that enough was not being done to protect the welfare of children. The group also heaped blame on the Child Development Agency, for not being more proactive in its duties to uphold child protection regulations.
