David Hassler pleaded Monday to a child pornography charge in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles. Hassler, a religious studies teacher at Mayfield Senior School of the Holy Child Jesus, faces 10 years in prison. Federal investigators searched Hassler's computer last year after they learned the 62-year-old subscribed to two commercial Web sites that offer child pornography. Hassler, who left Mayfield about one year ago, is scheduled for sentencing Jan. 26.
