(CBS 3) - A well-known bishop from a Trenton church was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy. Charles B. Brinson, 48, of Florence, was arrested while in the driver's seat of the Brinson Church van in Trenton, New Jersey on Saturday. Brinson is a leading pastor of the Brinson Memorial Church, a church he founded. He was taken into custody on warrants issued by the Philadelphia Police Department. The bishop has been arrested on warrants based on the sexual assault of a juvenile that Brinson picked up in Philadelphia and transported to his home in Florence. Brinson was charged with felony solicitation and contact with a minor and is being held without bail. Police say that the crime, which occurred earlier in the year, may not be isolated to the one incident. Burlington and Mercer County officials ask that anyone with information relating to possible additional victims contact them immediately.
